Community Centre
At Willow Haven we strive to create a healthy and independent lifestyle with strong social connections which is the leading factor in life fulfillment and for an extended life.
Centrally located and comprised of a dining room, library, coffee lounge, administrative office, 1st level nurse office and exercise room. This spacious community centre also features a piano and television area.
Dining Area
Tasty and well-balanced meals are served in our dining area at reasonable prices. Lunches are served daily. Special arrangements can be made with the managers for functions such as parties and family gatherings.
Coffee Lounge
Our large yet cosy coffee / hobby lounge is frequented by residents who come together to enjoy a cup of coffee, play the piano or participate in games (cards, puzzles) or social events such as sewing groups.
Library
The library features an extensive collection of both English and Afrikaans fiction and non-fiction books as well as a large collection of various magazines.
Travel Bus
A mini-bus is available to transport residents to local shops and to various other outings. A timetable for the minibus is posted on the community centre notice board.
Security
A secure environment is ensured with 24-hour gated security and a perimeter wall topped with multi-zoned electrified fencing.
Garden Courtyard
A garden courtyard marks the social centre of the community where residents gather to enjoy strolls among the trees and rosebushes, or to simply sit and converse with one another. The courtyard also features a pool where residents can take an afternoon dip while enjoying the serenity of the surroundings.
